I have recently purchased this item as a way to get back at my irritating upstairs neighbors. It worked too well. Since the purchase of this, it has started a war in our dorm. There is not a single doubt in my mind that we shall not prevail. – well worth the money

Great invention. However be careful with stains that can come from the friction between the device and the ceiling depending on the type of painting in your condominium or elsewhere. I had to clean it off. Also on my end it wasn’t always perfect to adjust for the height, too long or too short. When too long it just couldn’t fit with the bottom piece that was made to adjust it. I can not confirm at this time if my neighbor heard it. I would also say be careful with the neighbor below. I am wondering if it doesn’t vibrate too much making sound travel to the floor. In my case it’s in a condominium in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

The torture I have suffered in the last 6 months can not be described in words. After trying everything else, I came upon the ceiling thumper. I had some questions I wanted to ask so I wrote to the e-mail provided on this website. They are very quick to respond, kind, thorough and extremely helpful. I placed my order and it was a rather quick delivery. It was easy to put together but struggled a little with rod length. Mine was slightly too short but simply adding a couple of books for the thumper to stand on fixed the height issue. I have not used it yet on my upstairs neighbor but I did turn it on to see how it works. Knocking mode seems rather loud, so I’m pretty sure they will hear it above. Vibration mode is not as aggressive but hopefully it will still be able to transmit through the ceiling. I have to say that what I got was literally exactly what I saw in a video I watched. It’s quite impressive. I pray it helps my situation.

Guess what? Last night, I used that thing for just an hour, and tonight it’s like a library up there. My daughter’s gotta rise and shine for school at six in the morning. I’ve tried everything – called the cops, sweet-talked the upstairs, asking them nicely to chill after 10 pm. But past 10 pm, they still let those two little ones loose – one on a bike, the other jumping around. From my pregnancy days till now (baby’s seven months old), I’ve bitten my tongue, tried talking to them, but no luck. Well, not anymore. Finally let out some steam. No point reasoning with guys who never learned basic manners, right?

Whenever the upstairs get loud, I crank up my noise machine to give them a taste of their own medicine. After using it for a bit, they still make noise from time to time, but it’s not as bad as before. I’m pretty sure they can’t outdo me with this ceiling shaker.
